POSTCARDS FROM INDIA

"Postcards From India" is a recorded improvisation. A western guitar player and an Indian tabla master met one night in a small rural village of Madhya Pradesh, central North India, and decided to jam together on the rooftop of a cheap hotel. The sounds were recorded in just one take using one single microphone. No rehearsal ever took place, therefore mistakes have been kept in the recording. Vulnerability and spontaneity are the keys of this album.
